Your Quest

Mackemm needs your help! Normally the Pot-Bellied Chompers near the coast aren't anything to worry about, but a sudden, inexplicable breeding frenzy in the spring as brought on overpopulation for the beginning of summer! Due to their young age, the monsters are bouncing inland to create trouble for the locals by chomping the trees and the lumberjacks alike. Currently, a group of 5 Pot-Bellied Chompers have several lumberjacks trapped up in the trees for safety, and they've been up there for three whole days! They can't last much longer. Please hurry. They're willing to pay!

Your Quest

It seems that some people might be getting the impression that you're a reliable new monster hunter! A wealthy mother in Lyndon Port has requested you specifically after hearing from her wife's sister's baby daddy's cousin's personal trainer that his nephew was saved from a horde of Pot-Bellied Chompers in Mackemm the other day! Her daughter is turning twelve soon and she desperately wants to give her the perfect gift for any plucky pre-teen striking out into a world filled with monsters!

A Wyvern egg.

Your job is to go back to Mackemm, find a nest, and snatch an egg. With the naturally cold temperatures in the lumber town, the nest is likely to be occupied by a rather warm Wyvern butt, either the father or the mother. Either way, it's unlikely they want their unhatched offspring stolen, so do what you need to. All they care about is getting that egg in one piece!

Why Mackemm when Hoptus Forest is the easier choice? Why, because only top quality things come from Mackemm! Also because the client's wife's sister's baby daddy's cousin's personal trainer's nephew said he for sure thinks there's a nest over the forest cliffs above the ocean!
