Season & Year
Heading toward the north of the Mirinah Region, the terrain starts to become steep before it crescendos into icy mountains beyond. In this steep landscape, the town of Crowleigh is nestled. Bridges stretch across valleys to keep the sidewalks and roads connected for easy traversing, and steep stairs will take you between the many multiple-story buildings. Most of the town's business deals with gear for locals, who are predominantly Anthros, and travelers alike hoping to hunt, hike, or mountain climb in the mountains and frozen tundra to the north. There are a few inns in town to shelter those about to strike out into the wilderness or those on their way back, as well as a small hospital and a very skilled rescue team to save those who get in over their heads. For those who enjoy a mild, cool climate in the summers and lots of snow in the winter, Crowleigh is the best place to live or visit. Seasonal skiing and ice-skating on the large northern lake makes it one of the few places that are more popular in the cold months than the warm.
