WitchGender / Sexuality:
Estelle is a person who is borderline narcissistic. If it weren't for the lifetime of perfectionism that she struggled with every day of her life, she would consider herself as the most important person in the entirety of Vyldemire. She know that she turn heads, she fronts her insurmountable amount of knowledge, and even purposefully enters talent contests to show off what she can do. She is an elegant lady who controls her expression well and always speaks in double-sided words. She is conniving, but she is just. She caries around an air of holier-than-thou in her daily life, and sees people who are lesser than she as children. "Half-Breeds," as she calls them, aren't even human in her eyes.
Despite how she looked down on most others, she enjoys spending a lot of her time outdoors. When she is with those she likes, she has a very warm personality. She loves giving back to her friends, taking them out on friend-dates, doing their hair, giving them makeovers, the works. For companions she could enjoy the world's pleasures with, she will always take care of them. In fact, cooking for others is a sign of her own affection. If she ever had affection for a "Half-Breed," they still will not be seen as equal in her eyes, but a pet for her to keep.History:
Estelle has spent a lifetime getting used to the eyes being on her. Ever since she was young, many has told her how pretty she was, usually getting ranked highest in her group of peers. With a lot of encouragement from her environment, she aimed to be the best, just as she was the prettiest. The most elegant, the best at embroidery, the best dancer, the best writer - the list goes on. No matter how many achievements she gained, the thing most talked about was how she looked. Even as she reached adulthood, she had many suitors vie for her attention and affection, without personally knowing her past her pretty face. Not many people knew her at all. Those who were jealous of her often schemed against her to bring her ruin and their gain. She often got underestimated, kidnapped, attacked, and belittled with reckless abandon. She had to learn how to do it better, just to protect herself from harm. So excessive to the point where she has come to expect it. It got boring, tiring, stressful. She needed something new, something else. She has more knowledge than most of her peers, and going on her small adventures to get new books wasn't exactly giving her much more progress.
One day, a man on a carriage stopped hers on her way to see a rumored film that was brought by Rivengate. She had only seen live plays and puppet shows at the time, and wondered what would she see. Unfortunately, the man was one of her many suitors, and took the opportunity to abduct her. He starved her for days at a time, leaving her in a locked dusty room. Since she didn't want to marry him, he would take the time to try and force her to. Since the man didn't want to ruin her perfect skin, he instead decided to force her to watch as he tortured others. Maids, random slaves, and anthros that she had never seen before. A man was considered the pinnacle of humanity. If this was the pinnacle, then what was she? Was this justified? She just wanted to become someone that she could be proud of, and this is the end goal that she had reached. What was the point in all of her efforts? Humanity sunk down onto the lowest onto her list, and she dreaded even being born a human in the first place.
One day, an eldritch pillaged the man's home. She does not know the reason why, but it was thanks to that she was finally able to escape. None of her so-called suitors, nor her own parents, came to her rescue. Instead, it was the very being that she had been told was the incarnation of evil. She pleaded for him to take her life, so that she could no longer feel the pain of being alive as a human. Instead, he took her humanity, leaving her reborn as a witch. She never forgot the memory of her pain, but suddenly she began to feel unstoppable.
If humans didn't know how to run themselves without being the worst of the living beings, then she would have to rule over them, and teach them herself. She has to guide those who are mentally children into their foreseen adulthood. Likes:
- Overpowering others
- People kneeling before her
- Sweet food
- Gaiyans [Dislike-ish. More of a distaste]
- Overly salty food
- People from her past
Estelle has many things she wishes to accomplish, but none of them are for the betterment of humanity. The ones she is most willing to talk to her subordinates about is creating her own empire, with her as the sole ruler, and advancing in technology and magic which only she and her lowers can have access to. Weapons and magic of mass destruction. For control's sake
Her end goal is immortality. To have enough resources and supplies to make sure that she will never perish, and neither will her looks.
Fearing people who she brings along with her will only hinder her progress. Being unable to trust another person will only bring about a lot of stress, and halts her progress in the long run. For fears? She fears failure above all else. Failure is not an option.
