Personality:
Completely and unnecessarily optimistic in damn near every situation she is placed in Melantha can't seem to ever be truly unhappy about anything, including death. Her calm and cheerful disposition is almost perverse in its execution and no matter what she can always pluck out a golden lining in every dark cloud, even if that lining is a bit darkened itself. Forever amused with the world and beings around her she enjoys finding what makes others tick, studying them for weaknesses and strengths that aren't even necessarily physical. To Melantha, it's an individual's emotional and mental state that truly interests her. She can fake a smile, a shoulder to cry on, Melantha can be anything anyone wants her to be because it's just that easy for her. She revels in the idea that an individual can trust someone with their whole being given enough time and the right play of the cards because it takes less time to stab a person in the back and watch as they wonder that all too important question..." Why? "

Melantha enjoys her freedom, so much so that she reacts violently when she's in a position when she feels that she is not free. She does not do well isolated from others and is more or less a social butterfly, able to mingle with the masses from all walks of life with ease. Unlike some, she does not gush over the gods and finds them to be just a tad bit overrated, though she does appreciate Dark Mother, Heknys, and gives her rightly dues to the Dark Mother. Melantha knows when to keep things to herself and when to speak up. Lies come as easy to her as a spider spinning a web. At times she can be petty and enjoys drama, usually adding fuel to the flames. Melantha never judges a person on their past or even present actions until they negatively start affecting her, then any positive emotion she had for the individual in question is gone and she treats them with a passive-aggressive sort of stance until she is certain to get her grudge sated.

History: Born into a coven of witches known by few as " the void seekers ", these mysterious witches have long hidden away from most of the world to live amongst themselves. Most of these witches are born blind but with the loss of their sight, they gain the power of premonition and to see the void as a whole. Born as the younger sister of a twin set, Melantha was not born with the ability most of her other coven sisters had, but she was no less a witch of the coven. Growing up she was raised to respect the Void and trained under a witch that shared the element she chose to master.  Melantha's life was full of meditation and growth but she soon grew tired of these things when she hit her teen years and decided to leave the Coven and venture out on her own to learn about the " outside " world and all its wonders, and that's what she's been doing ever since.
