Sage is a prideful, snide brat. He's rude and seems awfully entitled for someone having little to no vyldergold to his name. Despite his desperation, he despises charity, both receiving it and giving it. Sage will never ask for help no matter how badly he needs it, relying instead on his own devices. He's more comfortable tricking and manipulating the people and situations where needed to accomplish his ultimate goals, and thinks himself quite slick. He's dishonest and cruel, not hesitating to play nasty tricks and sell sometimes faulty services for quick coins. Since his body is a bit small and weak for his age, Sage has to rely solely on his magical skills to get what he needs. As such, he presents himself as a travelling witch selling potions and spells, faking honest words and sickly sweet smiles until he gets what he wants. Beyond that, he's a bad tempered, sneering young man who says whatever he feels with little to no regard for hurting others. In fact, sometimes it seems like he's aiming to hurt others, perhaps to keep them at a distance or to avoid getting taken advantage of himself the way he takes advantage of others. Woe be to those caught up in his horrible tantrums.History:
In a small Outer Realm town called Endor, twins Cesage and Cecilie were born to witch parents Ambrose and Bridget Gwydion (pronounced Gwid-yon). At the beginning of their lives, they were a well off, seemingly happy family. There was plenty of vyldergold and food. The Gwydions were the richest family in town due to their father's mysterious work, but they never really got to enjoy it. Not long after they were born, Bridget and Cici came down with a terrible illness and Ambrose disappeared. Rumors flew as to why the prominent witch disappeared and left his loved ones to suffer. Some said he was still hunted for his involvement in the war, others claimed he possessed the secret spell of immortality, and quiet voices hinted that he caused this curse by not balancing his scales and drawing the punishment of Heknys. No matter what the father's reason was for abandoning them, the townsfolk helped raise Sage and looked after Bridget and Cici. Known for their expertly trained messenger ravens and bountiful potion ingredients, Endor did alright for itself, though its population was quickly diminished as the younger folk moved away to The Shambles and Sinhaven and the older ones died off. By the time the twins were eight years old, Endor was barely more than a ghost town.
As a child, Sage would gather up cages of ravens and baskets of herbs and travel sometimes days away to peddle the goods just to care for his ill family. As the years passed on, selling Endor's goods no longer paid for the carer, medicine, and food, so more drastic measures had to be taken. The boy had twisted and become bitter, now selling his services as a witch proficient in spells and potions. Leaving his mother and sister behind was hard, but it was easier to make a living in the more populated areas without wasting the funds to travel home so often. He simply sends vyldergold home by his own personal raven so he can continue to lie, trick, and cast his way to hopefully either a cure or to move them to a better location.Likes:

His top priority is to research and find his family's cure, or raise enough money to pay a more skilled witch to cure them for him, all the while making ends meet. He's only ever lived to support his family by himself, so it'd be nice if that paid off and everything turned out okay. Then he could finally take a break and find out what he wants out of life. Though he doesn't ever want to see his father again, he does dream of punishing the man for running out on them when things got tough.Key Fear/Adversary:
The one thing he fears most is losing his mother and sister to their illness, making illness, money, and time his greatest adversaries.

Cici is truly a sweet girl, but totally naive. She wants nothing more than to explore the world she's been isolated from her whole life. Her perception of the world comes from a place of innocence, but that's not to say she hasn't developed a personality. Thoughs he could easily have become as bitter as her beloved brother, Cici chooses to stay positive, though she can be quite sassy. It's easy to fool her, but once she finds out that she's been duped, she'll make her displeasure known with sharp words, perhaps even backed up by a spell to two. Almost all of her life might have been spent napping and resting, but when she was able to concentrate, Cici studied magic tombs and memorized spells. She was always optimistic that it would come in handy some day, once her brother's insanely hard work paid off and she was blessed with freedom. The young witch is not so pure that she believes her father wasn't wrong for leaving them, but she is far less prideful and unforgiving than Sage. She's willing to give anyone a chance to explain, even him, and she sincerely hopes he has a good reason because she very much wants to forgive him and have her father back. History: See History Above.
Cici has spent most of her life sick in bed, so she has little to no experience with the world outside of their humble hut, a few books, and her dreams. Likes:

To be cured of her terrible illness and experience the world for the first time.Key Fear/Adversary:
Cici is terrified of getting sick again (once cured), and that her brother will remain twisted from the hand life has dealt him. She sincerely hopes to see her father again someday, and that Sage won't kill him when she does.
