The Shambles Details

To outsiders, this place looks like a horrific landscape of dying trees, musty fog, and ragged shacks built up into the trees as if to avoid some terrible threat below in the swampy waters. In reality, it's just an enchantment cast by the witch population that lives there! If most saw what The Shambles actually looked like, they'd be crowded with people moving there, and that's far from what they want.

The terrain is actually quite beautiful, once they've clarified a visitor's eyes to see through the illusion. A thick, healthy forest lit with glowing flowers and fireflies, the witches have made beautiful homes amongst the living woods. The treehouses are charming and sturdy, leading into the hollow trunks of the trees that then descend down into the tunnels beneath the mossy ground. In the tunnels of glowing stalagmites and stalactites, witches perform their ceremonies and incantations, as well as throw some legendary parties!
